More than 62 years ago, the Cuban Revolution crashed into the island, promising a more just and prosperous society for all, something they have never been able to achieve. The exiled Cuban community, triumphant in different areas that run the gamut from politics to business and culture, has never been able to fulfill the original purpose that had them flee their country in the first place - that of returning to a free and democratic Cuba. We analyze the history of these 62 years in Cuba, where the population continues to demand their freedom, while it documents the repercussions of an exile community that changed the political landscape of the United States
